'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers: Will Upcoming Episode See the Death of a Lyon Family Member?

Following the explosive midseason finale of "Empire," upcoming episodes are expected to be much more intense and full of flavorful scenes that will help ease fans from the long wait as the show won't return until March.

In the upcoming episode titled "Death Will Have His Day," the show will pick up on the events that occurred when the series wrapped up last year. Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) betrayed his father, claiming that everything he took from his father was his "birthright."

Camilla (Naomi Campbell) is to blame for the fallout between Hakeem and his dad. She apparently brainwashed Hakeem, telling him that he deserved his father's position and that he had to move fast and claim what was rightfully his.

The upcoming episode's title is obviously a spoiler, and while it has yet to be revealed which character will face death, spoilers reveal that it might be someone from the Lyon family. A promo for part 2 of the season shows Camilla ordering for someone to be killed and it is expected that this person plays a major role in the show.

Meanwhile, Lucious (Terrence Howard) isn't going down without a fight. Spoilers reveal that he will seek help from a yet anonymous person to take down the people who stripped him off his position as head of the Empire Entertainment.

Fans speculate that a fierce battle for power is in for the Lyons and it would be interesting to see which Lyon will be against the other and who will pick a side in the battle between father-and-son.

It is uncertain if Lucious will go as far as taking down his own son to reclaim his throne. After all, Camilla is the real enemy and she has proven that she isn't the type of person who gives in easily.

To find out if a Lyon will go down to the grave, watch "Empire" season 2B when it returns to Fox on Wednesday, March 30.
