Eva Mendes, Ryan Gosling Split? Actress Jokes About Valentine's Day

Eva Mendes addressed rumors about her longtime boyfriend Ryan Gosling by citing one of the actor's movies during an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this week.

Mendes and Gosling have been dating since 2011, but recent rumors suggest that the pair have called it quits. Notwithstanding, Mendes answered questions about her upcoming Valentine's Day plans, revealing she will be spending the romantic holiday with Gosling after all.

"I'm not a big Valentine's Day person," the 39-year-old actress explained. "I'll probably just order a deep dish [pizza] and watch 'The Notebook' or something."

"Just cry, weep," she added.

Mendes cryptically mentioned Gosling's 2004 hit romantic film in which he starred with his then-girlfriend, Rachel McAdams. In doing so, the actress failed to confirm if she and Gosling have actually ended their relationship, leaving fans more curious than ever.

The breakup rumors are not the only gossip circulating about Mendes these days. The actress set the rumor mill in motion after refusing to go through the full-body scanner at LAX earlier this month, sparking speculation that the actress was concealing her pregnancy.

Squashing the "ridisculous" pregnancy rumors, Mendes said that she avoided the scanner because they are "really creepy."

"They basically see you naked, right," the actress asked DeGeneres during the show on Wednesday. "And not only that, but there's a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out."

A spokesperson for the actress had previously explained that Mendes is not pregnant and confirmed that she always avoids the scanning equipment in airports.

"I always ask for a personal pat down," Mendes explained.

DeGeneres replied, "All right, do you want to say it is a boy or a girl you're pregnant with?"

"Oh God, no no no! No," Mendes said.
