Evan Rachel Wood Ultrasound Photos Published; Actress Enraged

Just one day after Britain's Royal Family and St. James Palace expressed outrage over invasive photos of Kate Middleton, actress Evan Rachel Wood has taken aim at photographers who stole images of her ultrasound.

The pregnant actress paid her doctor a visit last week and learned the gender of her unborn child. Today, Wood realized that as she walked to her car following the appointment, photographers were able to capture the ultrasound picture she had clutched in her hand.

"Which sick ---- paparazzi his in the parking lot of my hospital after my ultrasound," started Wood via Twitter. "I can't stand this."

"I have never been more violated by a photographer," the incensed 25-year-old actress continued. "That's the inside of my body and my child. Would u like my soul too? nothing is sacred."

Wood, who married Jamie Bell late last year, announced that she and her husband were expecting their first child together last month.

"That picture was never meant for anyone but me and my husband," the actress posted.

The "Across the Universe" star called on Daily Mail, where the image of the ultrasound was published, to remove the photos.

"I would like to ask @mailonline to please remove the photos because they are private medical records, and its an invasion," wrote Bell via Twitter. "And that's the last I will say on this disgusting subject."

Wood is known for her role as a vampire on HBO's series "True Blood," and has appeared in films such as "Thirteen" and "The Ides of March," among others. Her husband Bell is best known for his roles in films "Billy Elliot," "King Kong," and "Jumper."

Meanwhile, the pregnant Kate Middleton was recently photographed while on vacation on a private island with her husband, Prince William, and other members of her family. The images have since been published in three countries, infuriating St. James' Palace.

"We are disappointed that photographs of the Duke and Duchess on a private holiday look likely to be published overseas," a spokesman for the couple at St. James's Palace told People magazine. "That is a clear breach of the couple's right to privacy."

This is the second set of photos that have upset the Royal Family in relation to the Duchess of Cambridge. Last year, photos of Middleton on vacation were also published, causing uproar.
