Evelyn Lozada, the 37-year-old entrepreneur and star of "Basketball Wives," admitted that watching the season five debut of the show recently was hard on her but hoped that others could learn from her life.
While Lozada has been vocal about her Christian faith as of late, she made headlines last year for a short-lived marriage to former NFL star Chad Johnson before their union ended in domestic violence. The reality television star spent much of the season five debut of "Basketball Wives" which was filmed last year in tears recounting the incident.
"Rough day re-living all this mess, but it's part of my process," Lozada tweeted to over one million fans. "I hope & pray my pain can become ur msg. Thanks 4 watching! (SIC)"
Lozada detailed the incident in multiple scenes when speaking to her friends, mother, daughter and business associates. Still, she admitted that she was in a better place these days.
At the start of the show, the reality television star did not hide her anxiety.
"I literally have the bubble guts," Lozada tweeted at the beginning of the show's premiere Monday. "Re-living all of this DRAMA IS STRESSFUL!!!"
Still, Lozada admitted she is in a better place these days.
"PSA!!!!! ALL OF THIS HAPPENED 1 YEAR AGO....," she tweeted. "MY PRESENT FEELINGS ARE NOT THE SAME! I'M GOOD! #Basketballwives"
Although she became popular on reality television the "Basketball Wives" star revealed that she had other plans for her career in the future.
"I really don't [see myself doing this forever]. I see myself working behind the scenes - whether it's working on my books or doing stuff on TV shows," Lozada revealed to Latina magazine recently. "I really want to have a family. And if that presented itself to me, I would probably just enjoy the moment because I feel like, with my daughter, it went by so fast!"
