Evelyn Lozada Reveals 'Basketball Wives' Put Daughter Through College

Evelyn Lozada is done with "Basketball Wives," but the fitness model and author revealed that the VH1 reality television series helped her provide her daughter with an education.

"Reality TV, although there's a lot of negativity, it's been more positive for me," Lozada told omg! Insider recently. "I was able to do a lot of things because of the show … I was able to put my daughter through college because of it."

While she has successfully provided an education for her previous only child, 19-year-old Shaniece, Lozada is now six months pregnant with LA Dodgers' superstar Carl Crawford's child. After much of her storyline in season five of the show revolved around a domestic dispute between her and ex-husband Chad Johnson, Lozada let it be known that she was tired of speaking about the former NFL star.

"When [Basketball Wives] was ending, I told my publicist, and just talking with my family, I'm like, 'I don't want to do the reunion. I don't want to talk about my relationship anymore.' We're both trying to move on, my family and myself and I'm sure his family and himself," Lozada revealed on omg! Insider.

Lozada may not be interested in returning to the hit VH1 reality television show, according to new rumors, and may instead involve herself with a spin-off from the popular show.

Lozada has said, "I signed on to do five seasons and this is our fifth. I don't really see me doing a sixth season. I know I can carry my own show, pretty much carried this one," according to The Huffington Post.

Still, it seems she would be willing to star in a spin off series.

"I would do my own show because I know I would have creative control. I'm in a different space," she said. "I'm open to doing a spin-off, but just not with a cast of women."

The reality television star has previously revealed some of the ventures that she would like to pursue after her stint on the show.

"I really don't [see myself doing this forever]. I see myself working behind the scenes - whether it's working on my books or doing stuff on TV shows," Lozada revealed to Latina magazine recently. "I really want to have a family. And if that presented itself to me, I would probably just enjoy the moment because I feel like, with my daughter, it went by so fast!"
