Everlife To Headline Disney's Egg-splosion

SHELTERecords' all girl trio Everlife will be headlining Eggs-plosion 2005, Disney’s annual Easter egg hunt. Expected to draw nearly 10,000 participants, the event will take place on Saturday at Johnny Carson Park in Burbank, CA from 10am-1pm. Other performing artists who will be appearing include Chubby Checker, Lalaine, Hope7, and Greg Reposo.

“We are still in awe of the doors that Disney has opened for us,” states Amber. “We always wanted to get our musical message of hope, fun and purpose out wherever we could, but we are just beside ourselves on how supportive Disney has been.”

Releasing their self-titled debut last year, Everlife (composed of sisters Amber (21), Sarah (18), and Julia (16)) quickly caught the attention of Radio Disney and the ears of young fans worldwide. The group’s performance of the song “Strangers Like Me” from the Tarzan soundtrack, which is overwhelmingly approved by Radio Disney listeners at 81%, was the first single chosen for the Disneymania 3 album, which has already sold over 101,000 units in only 4 weeks.

During the month of April, the Disneymania 3 concert will feature the girls in their debut TV performance of the song. The concert is scheduled to appear on Music Choice, Direct TV and Disney related programming. Also appearing is Christy Carlson Romano, Cheetah Girls and others.

The girls' single “I’m Over It” from their self-titled debut is also currently in rotation on Radio Disney, CCM, CHR, and Rock radio formats, as well as featured on Radio Disney Jams 7, which was released to stores yesterday.

“We are blown away and extremely grateful for these opportunities,” states Julia. “It’s beyond our wildest dreams,” echoes Sarah.
