Exit Polls 2012: Latest Results, Closing Times, Presidential Election Watch Online Live Stream Updates

All eyes are on the exit polls as millions vote in the 2012 Presidential Elections, and anxiously await to see whether President Barack Obama or challenger Mitt Romney wins the race for the White House.

Preliminary exit poll results are expected to be released from 5-6 p.m. ET. However news outlets are not permitted to broadcast any information until state polls close. The information gathered by the National Election Pool consortium - made up of ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News, CNN and the Associated Press - will be sealed off until 11 p.m. ET.

Poll stations close at 7 p.m. ET for some states such as Georgia, Indiana and Kentucky. Other states, especially from the East Coast, close their polling station between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET. New York is the only state in the East Coast where poll stations will close at 9 p.m.
