'Falling Skies' Season 5 News, Spoilers: Cast Member Drew Roy Hints On Someone Who's "Not Going To Make It"

TNT's hit post-apocalyptic drama TV series "Falling Skies" is now edging closer towards the epic finale of its current Season 5 and according to intel, fans should be preparing themselves for an upcoming major death.

A report from Enstarz.com cited cast member Drew Roy's conversation with the people from HitFix.com. The role player for Tom Mason's (Noah Wyle) eldest son, Hal, revealed that during the final showdown, "surely somebody's not going to make it."

"Who will it be?" the actor teased. "We'll have to find out."

The media outlet further cited an earlier report from Spoiler TV dishing out about the season ender's major death. The site clued in that the demise will happen during the incident where the 2nd Mass faces off with a swarm of hornets which will take place "in the opening moments" of the episode titled "Reborn."

"Unfortunately, while it's a great battle for audiences to watch, it's no so fun for those involved in the battle. The 2nd Massachusetts loses a vital member of their operation in the midst of the fight," the Spoiler TV previewed (via Enstars).

The question now arises as to who will bite the dust. Will it be Tom, Ben (Connor Jessup), Matt (Maxim Knight), Weaver (Will Patton), Anne (Moon Bloodgood), Chochise (Doug Jones) or Dingaan (Treva Etienne)? Or will it be Hal himself?

For more details about the episode, the segment's summary which was posted right over at The Futon Critic talks about the "final standoff" that will bring the Masons, the 2nd Mass and their new allies "into the bowels of an iconic American location," a place laden with "new and unpredictable obstacles."

"Despite great loss along the way, they must persevere with hopes of once and for all reclaiming Earth and humanity," the synopsis further warns of the ominous outcome.

Don't miss the Season 5 finale of "Falling Skies" which airs this Sunday, August 30, at 10 p.m. on TNT.
