'Falling Skies' Season 5 News, Update: Which Masons Will Make It Alive Through the Season?

TNT's hit science-fiction TV drama series "Falling Skies" has already wrapped up for the final scenes of its upcoming Season 5 which, according to reports will be its last installment.

A report from Enstars shared a series of on-set photos of the show's main characters including Tom (Noah Wyle), Hal (Drew Roy), Ben (Connor Jessup), and Matt (Maxim) along with other cast members like Will Patton (who plays the charater Weaver), Moon Bloodgood (Anne), Sarah Carter (Maggie), and Mpho Koaho (Anthony).

The publication went on to speculate that with the disappearance of the Second Mass, there is a huge possibility that all four members of the Mason Clan will make it through the season.

However, an interview with Roy, Bloodgood, and Patton seems to suggest that there would still be "one major death" towards the end. As to whom will it be, it remains to be seen.

Connected Digital World asked the cast during their visit at the MCM London Comic Con about what to expect in the upcoming chapter of the show.

"I think [viewers] will definitely cry at the moment, if they edited it right," Patton said.

Meanwhile, the official Season 5 synopsis was posted on Screen Crush and where it reads:

"As season five opens, all breed of beast and mutant are running rampant on earth. The Espheni's power core has been destroyed, and humans are now ready to fight on their terms, even if it means resorting to hand-to-hand combat against the enemy. After four years of being tortured, imprisoned and mutated and having their loved ones stolen from them, Tom and the 2nd Mass are filled with rage, ready to destroy the enemy in an all-out battle to determine the fate of Earth."

"Falling Skies" Season 5 premieres on Sunday, June 28 with the episode titled "Find Your Warrior."
