'Fallout 4' News, Update: New Details of Upcoming Game Revealed at Quakecon 2015

Bethesda recently showcased a new demo for its upcoming action-adventure game, "Fallout 4" at its Quakecon conference this week. Here are the details as to what players should expect when the game hits the shelves this year.

According to Kotaku, the new installment will feature a dozen of possible companions, including Dogmeat, Mr. Handy, Preston Garvey, and Piper, the newly-unveiled companion that players will meet in Diamond City.

It was pointed out during the conference that the canine companion is in fact based on the game's lead designer's dog named River. Gamers can command Dogmeat to scout areas for loot.

Preston Garvey, on the other hand, is a new character recently added to "Fallout Shelter." Kotaku shared an image of the NPC who is a leader of the Commonwealth Minutemen faction, which players can also join.

The site also noted that Mr. Handy can actually say the player's name "be it John, or something more ridiculous … he will vocalize it all the same."

Players can also "romance" their human companions regardless if their avatar is a male or female. They can also play the game without any companions and can learn special perks if they choose to.

Speaking of Perks, Gamespot said that the new game will have 70 perks, where each perk has a set of ranks.

There are also a lot of fan-favorite things that are returning in Fallout 4 including the Super Duper Mart, computer hacking, lockpicking, the Fat Man and Behemoth mutants.

Players can also go to the towns of Lexington and Quincy.

"Fallout 4" from Bethesda is slated to launch for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this Nov. 10.
