Fans Hope to See Park Shin Hye, Lee Min Ho Reunite in 'The Heirs' Season 2

After being named the favorite South Korean actor and actress of American Korean Wave fans recently, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye are now rumored to do the sequel of their hit South Korean drama series, "The Heirs."

Min Ho and Shin Hye co-starred in the SBS series "The Heirs" in 2013. Since the drama ended, fans have yearned for a follow-up to the original series. While hopes for a sequel have been slim for the past years, it looks like "The Heirs" season 2 is now likely to happen.

Last week, an international survey was conducted by the Korea Creative Content Agency among 4,700 Korean Wave fans based in the United States to determine the most popular actor and actress in South Korea. Min Ho and Shin Hye got the most number of votes.

The victory of the former co-stars reminded fans of their chemistry in "The Heirs," and now they are demanding to see the actor and actress reunite for a sophomore season. Fans believe that Min Ho and Shin Hye's chemistry is still there and could still work for viewers if "The Heirs" returns for a new season.

While there is no official announcement yet about the much-awaited reunion, fans remain hopeful that Min Ho and Shin Hye will come together once again for "The Heirs" season 2.

Since the first season of "The Heirs" ended, both actors have been busy with their own projects. Min Ho temporarily stopped doing TV drama series to do web series and film projects, including "Line Romance," "First Seven Kisses" and "Innisfree Summer Love." He returned to the small screen last year with "The Legend of the Blue Sea," where he appeared with "My Sassy Girl" star Jun Ji Hyun.

Shin Hye, on the other hand, has continued doing TV projects, including "Gogh, The Starry Night" and "Doctor Crush."
