Father Appeals to Facebook to Create 'Look Back' Video for Deceased Son, Facebook Responds (VIDEO)
For their 10th birthday, Facebook gave users a gift with the "Look Back" video feature. By going to facebook.com/lookback, you can see a one-minute video that highlights your history on the site, including your first posts and most popular photos and status updates. You can also share your movie with friends.
Users are finding the "Look Back" feature to be a fun bit of nostalgia, but for one father, it means so much more.
Jesse Berlin, a guitarist in the St. Louis band Fivefold, tragically passed away in his sleep on January 28, 2012. His father, John Berlin, asked Facebook to help him see Jesse's "Look Back" video. As John doesn't have access to his late son's account, he's unable to view it by the conventional method.

So, he posted this plea to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to let him see Jesse's video. He doesn't ask for access to the account, just for the company to put the video together and send it to him.

And this story has a happy ending: Facebook called Berlin to say that they'll make his video, as well as work on ways to help the loved ones of users who have died.
