'Fear The Walking Dead' Season 3 Spoilers: Daniel and Ofelia's Reunion to be 'Beautiful' Instead of Dark, EP Reveals

When the viewers of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 3 finally saw Daniel (Rubén Blades) and Ofelia (Mercedes Mason) back in action after some time of being absent, it gave away the idea that the father and daughter will be crossing paths again this season.

Executive producer Dave Erickson recently revealed some spoilers about what the viewers should look forward to in the current season of the AMC series.

When asked about that much-awaited reunion between Daniel and Ofelia, he revealed that it will not be one of the dark moments of this season.

"In my opinion, it will definitely be beautiful," Erickson told Cinema Blend about the father-daughter meeting. "That's been a long time coming, and one of the things I like about this, is the back half of the season is very much about reuniting the family and bringing all these various plot lines and sort of weaving them back into one," he added.

He also explained that Ofelia has changed a lot since she last saw her father, and this will make the reconciliation even more interesting.

Meanwhile, in the latest episode of the post-apocalyptic drama, Daniel found out from Walker (Michael Greyeyes) that his daughter has been working as a soldier for The Nation.

When the concerned father insisted that Ofelia could not become a soldier as this was not how he raised her, Walker told him that his daughter had already killed plenty of their enemies and saved the lives of many.

However, while Ofelia is seen as a hero by The Nation, this information caused Daniel to be upset.

Despite the reaction, family will always be family for Daniel. In fact, Blades, the actor playing the character, thinks that he will end up siding with The Nation because of his daughter.

"Daniel's concern has always been his family," the actor said in an interview with BT TV earlier this month. "He is going to go wherever they go. Everything else is secondary. He will stick by Ofelia no matter what," he went on to say.

"Fear the Walking Dead" season 3 airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
