'Fifty Shades Darker' News: 'Teen Wolf' Star Tyler Hoechlin Shares Teasers About His Role [WATCH VIDEO]

One of the stars of the upcoming installment of the "Fifty Shades" series shared some interesting insight about his role in the film.

The movie adaptation of the E.L. James trilogy "Fifty Shades of Grey" is currently expecting its second installment, which will bring a lot of new characters to the big screen. It was reported that Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, characters played by Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, respectively, will be joined by new characters.

It was hinted that the new addition to the story will bring several obstacles for the couple. Though the character Boyce Fox was only briefly mentioned in the novels, it confirmed that the character will be brough to life in the upcoming "Fifty Shades Darker." Fox will be played by Tyler Hoechlin, who is best know for his work on MTV's "Teen Wolf."

During an interview with HeyUGuys, Hoechlin shared some details about his character's purpose in the fim. He said, "So I'll tell you what I can tell you. Boyce Fox is an author that Dakota Johnson's character is very fond of his work and so he is someone she is interested in bringing into the company, and that's all I can say."

 In the novels, Anastasia was seen trying to get Fox into Seattle Independent Publishing. However, things did not work out according to plan when Jack Hyde, her boss, came between the deal. With that, fans are curious to see how the upcoming film will portray the character's storyline and how it will affect Anastasia's relationship with Christian.

Aside from Hoechlin, according to Pop Sugar, other characters are also expecting to cause more drama in the upcoming film. It was confirmed that actors Bella Heathcote, Kim Basinger, Eric Johnson and Hugh Dancy are also going to be part of the upcoming film.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is expected to hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
