'Final Fantasy 15': Will Future Pieces of DLC Deliver Significant Storyline Changes?

Developers have hinted that more story scenes could be added to 'Final Fantasy 15'

The version of "Final Fantasy 15" that players can experience right now is still expected to change significantly, especially with updates and downloadable content packs expected to be released. But just how much more can this role-playing game continue to morph?

To be more specific, is something like the game's main storyline still subject to change if fans show they want it enough?

Now, there are a few things worth noting here.

First off, developers have already hinted that there may still be some story-based additions coming in the future.

In an earlier post on the Square Enix blog, director Hajime Tabata revealed that they are "hoping to delve deeper into the story" and that they are aiming to do so in part by introducing more scenes that should give players better insight into what's actually going on.

Still, these story scenes are not expected to be that substantial and they will likely have no real impact on the main storyline, which is why recent developments could be worth monitoring.

As a recent report from iDigitalTimes (spoilers included) noted, there are fans who are not completely satisfied with some of the main storyline events that took place near the end of "Final Fantasy 15."

Ordinarily, fans being unhappy with a game's main storyline is nothing new. The dissatisfaction does not really lead to anything, however, as the main storyline remains untouched, or at least this is what happens in most cases.

In the game, however, there seems to be certain instances wherein the main story can still be changed in ways that could make sense and may even help to lead to the creation of a more satisfactory outcome.

Whether the developers will actually be willing to apply such significant storyline changes remains to be seen, but at the very least, it looks as though there are some fans who are open to the idea.

More news about "Final Fantasy 15" should be made available in the near future.
