'Finding Carter' News, Update: Season 2B Trailer Reveals A Much Complicated Life for Carter

A new trailer for the second half of MTV's "Finding Carter" Season 2 has been released this week and it previews the fallout caused by Carter's brother as well as the challenges that the Wilson/Stevens families will be facing in next month's showing.

Earlier reports indicated that the events in Season 2B will pick up after Carter's shocking discovery that she has a secret brother named Ben. The highlight reel revealed that the brand new episodes might focus on Ben who is back in town and will be living with Lori for good.

The situation, needless to say, makes things utterly complicated for everyone. Despite her warnings to him not to trust Lori, Ben is apparently adamant with the decision he had already set in mind.

Setting aside the drama, the footage also revealed that Carter is now getting a new job at a bar serving drinks and from the looks of it, she's getting paid off well. Elizabeth is clearly against the idea of Carter dropping out of school for the gig.

"You could be in serious trouble," the parent warned. Carter, however, retorted that she hates "being there" at school and she "wanna drop out."

Max and Taylor can also be seen in the teaser clip and they are still clearly on the verge of understanding their true feelings for each other. Crash, meanwhile, is talking to Carter warning her about the dangers of getting along with Ben.

The Season 2B synopsis released by MTV (via Entertainment Weekly) said that her "new, fast lifestyle" will be filled with parties and carefree activities – a far cry from her tedious life in high school.

However, things are expected to "speed out of her control" and Carter will soon realize that "she needs her family more than ever."

Season 2B of "Finding Carter" is slated to return to MTV on October 6, Tuesday, at 10 p.m.
