It appears that Carter still has no clue that her boyfriend is involved in an illegal drug trade. Furthermore, it establishes the idea that he could be the person behind Seth's death. What is even more terrifying is the influence he has over the teenager.

When she saw Jared dragging the dead man's body out of the party venue, he claimed to the police that he did not know the deceased. Carter just listened and did not say anything.

Now that she is on her way to unearthing the truth behind Seth's purported drug overdose, she might become the target of her very own sweetheart. It has been known that the man, who is set to leave for New York for his residency, is making a lot of money out of his shady business deals. However, it was also revealed that he still owes someone. It's obvious that Jared is determined to stack up to pay for that loan and that the last thing he needs is a girlfriend who doesn't mind her own business. Will Jared hurt Carter to save himself from trouble?

Find out how these things unfold when "Finding Carter" Season 2 airs this Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. on MTV.
