Floyd Mayweather and Ronda Rousey News: 'Money May' offers to help Ronda Rousey with boxing

Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now on Ronda Rousey's side.

Just over the last few months, Mayweather and Rousey have been throwing verbal jabs at each other. But it all seemed to change after UFC 193 event, where Holly Holm knocked out "Rowdy" via second round head kick.

After two years since being UFC champion, Rousey lost both her title and undefeated record. While Mayweather still has his 'zero' intact, he still empathized with the former UFC bantamweight queen.

He even went as far as extending a helping hand, as far as boxing goes.

"I want Ronda Rousey to hold her head up high and don't let this discourage you," Mayweather told Fight Hype. "If you need help as far as with boxing, I'm here to help you. It's all about timing and inches. Her ground game is unbelievable. She'll be okay."

As for the back and forth trash-talking, Mayweather says he is looking at it as a business move by UFC executives Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta. He adds that he never really took any of Rousey's words seriously.

"I mean, even with the things that Ronda Rousey said about me, sometimes we need to be guided in the right way," Mayweather said. "Do I think that she really meant what she said? Absolutely not. You know, it's crazy, to get to where I got to, I didn't have no sponsors. I mean, today, people are overnight sensations."

"I commend Dana White and the Fertitta brothers for being able to take a female and make her so huge in a contact sport," he continued. "I commend them for that, but she had to do her part also, and she did her part."

"If I was her, I would've used Floyd Mayweather's name also. She's supposed to do that. It's business, it's not personal, and I understand business."
