Ford Escape SUV 2017 Has Complete New Look, Updated Interior

Giant car manufacturer Ford is bringing in a new and fresh car two years from now as reports say that they have already announced the vehicle that everyone has been waiting for. According to HeraldNet, the company has recently unveiled the Escape SUV 2017.

Those who were present during the unveiling were able to take a first look at the complete new look and improved tech features of the car. The source noted that the 2017 Escape compact crossover vehicle will be showing off an updated interior and exterior styling. It will boast an edgier and rugged look.

As noted in the official website of Ford, the Escape SUV 2017 will come with a "confident grille, sculpted hood and athletic stance." It also mentioned that it will have sleek side view mirrors and re-designed wheels which are ready for an adventure anytime. It is detailed that the wheels will have improved LED tail lamps and halogen projector headlamps with LED signature lighting.

The source also stated that the upcoming car will be pre-installed and powered with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine, which can give off as much as 168 horsepower. Aside from that, a couple of other efficient engines dubbed as the EcoBoost engine will be added.

In a report by AmericaJR, Jason Rzucidlo interviewed Ford's North America Product Communications Manager of Utility Vehicles Mark Schirmer. It was revealed that the upcoming SUV will provide driver-assist technologies that will help in supporting safer and easier driving as well as new mobile connectivity that will let owners interact with their vehicle from anywhere through a smartphone app.

According to Digital Trends, the new Escape SUV will also introduce the first Ford car in the world with SYNC Connect. Through this feature, users will be able to unlock doors, check fuel level and even find where a vehicle is parked. The car is also designed to help in reducing costs. Yibada reported that the vehicle will come with a new engine that is made with the latest improved technology. It will have the auto start stop feature and can detect when the vehicle is on idle mode during traffic jams, wherein it will automatically switch off to save fuel.
