Former 'Dance Moms' Star Maddie Ziegler Shares Excitement to Get Her Driver's Permit as She Turns 15

Former "Dance Moms" star Maddie Ziegler is about to get behind the wheel. The dance celebrity just turned 15 on Saturday, and she's very excited about getting her driver's permit.

"I'm about to get my permit," she said, when asked by Entertainment Tonight about her plans after her fifteenth birthday last weekend. "I can get my permit soon, so that's like my biggest goal of being 15," she noted.

The dance star has a big year coming up now that she's fifteen, and it includes working once again with pop superstar and multi-awarded director Sia on another project. The details of this new collaboration are being kept tightly under wraps for now, except for a few tidbits here and there.

Ziegler also gets to work with Kate Hudson, winner of a Golden Globe award, among other accolades. She has shaved off her long blonde hair just for the collaboration with Sia and Ziegler, which is known as "Sisters" for now.

The feature film is set to launch next year, according to E! Online, and will feature Emmy Winner Sterling Brown as well.

That's a huge goal for any other 15-year old, for sure. But for now, Ziegler is more worked up about her upcoming license to hit the road.

"I'm excited. I think I'm gonna be a great driver," the "Dance Moms" star boldly stated.

It's been nine months since she first went out with her boyfriend Jack Kelly earlier this January. For now, the couple is still dawdling on her plans for their one-year anniversary, which might involve a romantic trip overseas.

"I think I'm going to be in Australia with him," Ziegler said, as she mulled about spending some time over at Kelly's native country. At this time, though, it's all about getting her own car for the teen dance celebrity.
