Free Apple Store Apps in August 2014 This Week: Humin, Drinkaware, Yahoo Fantasy Football and More

August is about to end so we're bringing you again a list of the best free Apple App Store apps that you should check out this week for your iPhone or iPad.

Drinkaware: Track and Calculate Units – is the perfect way to "change the way you drink." This app enables users to track "alcohol consumption, calculate units and calories" by way of cool visual aids like graphs and charts. Most of all, this app allows users to set a goal that will help them moderate their drinking. It has an extensive database of alcohol brands for better, wider range of references.

Humin – temporarily available only in the U.S., this app is gaining traction among app users for its smart capability of organizing contacts. While using regular phonebooks entail browsing a long alphabetical list, Humin lets users input more relatable terms in reference to the person being searched like "met last week" or "lives in Chicago." Also, the app has a unique notification feature which updates the user whether he/she will be having a meeting with a particular contact.

Yahoo Fantasy Football – Yahoo's take on fantasy football. The app enables the users to set up and manage fantasy teams to compete. The first of its kind, this real time, social fantasy football game lets the users connect with other people and friends.

Godus – a whole new living and breathing world in the palm of your hands. The game allows the user to make unique geographical landscapes by shaping, molding, or sculpting it to suit one's taste. The simulated world will be populated with "devoted Followers" who will live, learn, and grow while at the same time love and worship their creator - the player. The simulation game will also let users set their Followers to embark on a journey in search for new lands and treasures.

Touch Racing 2 – developed by Marvelous Games, Touch Racing 2 is the sequel to the popular racing game where the focus in on the remote-controlled cars and boats rather than their real, full-sizes. It has a unique control system and allows users to upgrade different aspect of the vehicles like the chassis, engine spoiler, etc.
