The 28-year-old, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, was interviewed by Philadelphia detectives and police have established that the rapper had no direct involvement in the shooting.

"Nobody got time for this s---," Montana wrote in a photo caption alongside of photo taken of the rapper being questioned at a local police station.

"They are still interviewing a ton of people," Philadelphia Police spokesperson Officer Christine O'Brien told MTV. "From what we were told he [Montana] was on the tour bus at the time and was not even aware of the shooting. The captain [in charge of the investigation] said everyone in [Montana's] group was more than cooperative with police."

In light of the shooting Montana's Allston, Massachusetts show was canceled Friday. However, the rapper will resume his tour in New York City on March 4.

Montana is renowned for his collaborations with other big name rappers including Drake, Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.

Like Montana, Ross, whose real name William Leonard Roberts II, was recently involved in a shooting in January, but in the incident, he was the alleged target of the gunman.

The 36-year-old had partied with Montana during birthday celebrations in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. when he was targeted while leaving the event. Ross immediately tried to flee the scene by speeding away from the gunfire, but the rapper crashed into a nearby building, and eventually police were called.
