'Frozen 2' Casting Rumors, Update: Jennifer Lawrence Attached to Sequel?

Another "Frozen 2" rumor has sprung up early this year and a big Hollywood name is already attached to play a role in the alleged sequel. Some Disney officials are rooting for the "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence to play a part in a purported second installment of its widely-popular animation film.

"Jen's husky rendition of 'The Hanging Tree' in Mockingjay Part 1 surprised everyone," a person in the know told OK! magazine. "Now execs [at Disney] think she could be the new Kristen Bell."

As if the thought of having yet another "Frozen" movie is already sensational enough, getting the "American Hustle" actress on board will surely amped up the excitement.

"She's such a relevant star," the insider continued. "She'd bring tons of fans to the next film."

Not to burst anyone's bubble, these talks should be taken with a grain of salt as in the first place, there hasn't been any official word yet whether or not a new "Frozen" installment is underway.

As for its cast, earlier reports from Enstarz cited "Edge of Tomorrow" actress Emily Blunt, who is also rooted to join the anticipated sequel along with Kristen Bell.

However, the 31-year-old "Into the Woods" actress stated for a fact that the role isn't really for her.

"That [series] is for my friend Kristen Bell, who just crushed it, and I am so happy for her," Blunt said. "So now. I don't know. There's just never going to be another Elsa and an Anna. There just can't."
