'Frozen 2' Premiere Date, Plot Spoilers – New Villain and Love Interest for Queen Elsa?
With Disney keeping mum about the sequel's plot, the rumor mill is churning out speculations and rumors about what will happen in the kingdom of Arandelle and the beloved characters from the animated movie.
A report in the Latino Post is talking about a possible origins story of sorts. According to the report, since the first movie did not dwell much on where Elsa's powers came from, it is likely that the next film can focus on Elsa and Anna's parents and how Elsa came to have such powers, which they tried to hide from the rest of Arandelle.
Another angle that the report said the sequel might take is how the relationship between Anna and Kristoff will progress. A separate report in Christian Today even mentioned that a wedding might be in the horizon. As for Queen Elsa, there are reports that she may find her love match in the sequel and that she may not need to look far. One report speculated that Olaf may be some handsome prince trapped inside a snowman's body.

And what is a movie without a villain? Christian Today mentioned another rumor that a new villain might be appearing in the sequel and will be challenging Queen Elsa's ice power with the power of fire. All these plot rumors are merely rumors however until Disney speaks up and releases plot details or a synopsis of the upcoming movie.
What is confirmed so far is the return of the voice actors for the main cast, such as Idina Menzel (Elsa), Kristen Bell (Anna), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf). The release date has not been officially announced by Disney.
Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, who directed the first film, return to direct the sequel. Lee is also said to be working on the screenplay. Disney has not yet confirmed if the Lopezes will return to compose the next film's music.
