'Frozen 2' plots news: Elsa's sexual orientation explored?

News about "Frozen 2" has surfaced, revealing details that will be explored about Queen Elsa, voiced by Idina Menzel.

It was stated that the upcoming sequel from "Frozen" will explore the sexual orientation of Queen Elsa, as well as provide a love interest for her. There are rumors that Elsa will identify as lesbian in Frozen 2. Moreover, there are speculations that the sequel will see her death, which shocked fans. However, reports by Telegraph stated that if the film does kill her off, it will not be for good. If it did see the permanent death of Elsa, the franchise is bound to lose billions of dollars. At the same time, it will leave children unhappy with the film.

Rumors also stated that there is a possibility that the sequel will feature an appearance by Flynn Rider from "Tangled." He and Rapunzel were known to have cameos in the previously released Frozen. Despite these rumors, it was confirmed that actress Eva Bella has been cast for the voice of young Elsa. She will be joining the cast for the sequel, which opened the opportunity of exploring Queen Elsa's background. Bella recently posted a photo of herself in a recording studio with the caption, "Always a good place to start my day! Nice to be back...busy day ahead! Let's do this! #actorslife #FROZEN."

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will be directing the film once again. Buck recently told MTV News, "Jen [Lee] and I are just getting back into the story room together and throwing ideas around. We have an overall idea, a concept, which I think is a very strong one. I'm very excited about doing it. We will keep that going in the next one. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with,"

Frozen 2 is expected to air in theaters by Nov. 21, 2018.
