'Fuller House' Season 2 Plot Lines Include Stephanie, DJ Tanner New Love Interest from Original 'Full House' Cast - Who?

Romance is in the air for the upcoming season of "Fuller House." Netflix recently reintroduced the reboot of the classic series "Full House" with the original cast.

With that, fans got to see their favorite characters all grown up and with kids of their own. DJ Tanner, who is played by Candance Cameron Bure, was seen a widowed mother with three kids. The first season showed her struggling to pick between two boyfriends, one of which is her original love interest Steve, played by Scott Weinger.

Meanwhile, Jodie Sweetin's character Stephanie, who is now a club DJ, is still single. Season 1 ended with her questioning her love life and her choice in men. However, a recent interview with Sweetin revealed that her character will soon find a love of her own.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Sweetin spoke about the exciting things in store for Stephanie. She said, "Stephanie finally gets a boyfriend. Who it is, is a really fun surprise. So I think fans are going to enjoy that."

Could it be Harry Takayama? Stephanie's boyfriend in the original "Full House"? Probably not since Harry is already married.

Unfortunately, Sweetin did not reveal much detail about who will be her love interest in the upcoming season.

Aside from that, she added, "There could be a connection to [someone from] Full House. It sucks to have to be so vague but Netflix will kill me if I say anything. I want to so bad, but I can't."

Bure also hinted that the upcoming season will see the return of several "Full House" characters. She said, "There are definitely going to be some more throwback guest stars on this season. So old Full House fans will have fun seeing some very familiar faces."

There has yet to be any official new regarding the release date of "Fuller House" season 2.
