Gaga then declared that she had been injured and been hiding it for some time hoping that prayers would help her heal before the next concert. She said she hit it from staff because she was so disappointed, but things have progressed to the point that she can no longer walk.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal," she wrote. "I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't."

The "Born This Way" singer then pleaded with her fans for forgiveness appearing genuinely disappointed that she would be letting so many people that she loved down.

"To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. Im devasted & sad," Gaga lamented. "It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry."

Most fans shared well wishes with the star, hoping for her quick recovery. The singer did not reveal when or how she had sustained the injury, but has suggested that she will only "postpone" and not cancel her shows.
