Gaga Wardrobe Malfunction: Splits Pants on Stage (VIDEO)

Lady Gaga suffered an unexpected wardrobe malfunction on stage after splitting her latex pants mid-concert.

While most of the celebrity world was busy on Sunday night celebrating the 70th Annual Golden Globes, Lady Gaga was busy singing on stage during a concert in Vancouver. Gaga kicked off the beginning of her North American tour on Friday night in Canada, with a slew of new stunts. There was one stunt however, that the star was not expecting.

The "Born This Way" singer was in the middle of a complicated move that required her to bend over in a pair of black, Versace latex pants that the fashion brand had raved about developing on Twitter before the show.

"Tonight @ladygaga is kicking off the N. American portion of her tour w a full new set of Versace costumes for herself and her dancers too!" the fashion house wrote Friday night.

But perhaps Versace wasn't the most practical choice because as Gaga bent, the plants split down the center revealing the singer's behind. Gaga however, was able to keep her poker face, and joked with fans instead about the incident covering up any sort of embarrassment she might have felt.

Both of Gaga's shows in Canada had been sold out for back-to-back nights. After the show, Gaga thanked her fans for their enthusiasm over her performance.

"Tonights Vancouver show," she wrote posting a picture of a crowded arena. "Im still up I can't sleep I had so much fun.You were such a passionate crowd."

Gaga did not directly address the incident after the concert, but later wrote on Twitter that the world was not always the nicest place.

"The 'real world' can be cruel," she wrote, "why not try to change it into a better place? I am an activist. Nobody takes adolescents seriously, I do."
