The 2014 edition received the same update last month.

The changes made to the software don't vary that much from other Samsung products. The update brings a mostly the same features including immersive mode, cloud printing, white status bar icons and system improvements. The update should roll out in other markets sometime during the coming weeks.

The Android 4.4 KitKat update is now rolling out for the Galaxy Note 2 on Sprint.

It is finally available for customers on the carrier and will bring new updates including cloud printing, NFC tap-to-pay support, all white icons in the status bar, full screen album art, and the ability to put a camera shortcut on the lockscreen. The smartphone's performance will be improved and there will also be various stability fixes with it.

The Galaxy Mega 6.3 Android 4.4 KitKat update is available for users in Russia. It can be downloaded to the device using Samsung KIES software. There are no reports for an OTA version at this time, but it should arrive during the next few weeks.

The update is also rolling out for the Galaxy S4 Active international version.

It is currently available in the Netherlands for the unlocked model and is listed under the firmware number I9295XXUCNE5. It is 1.3GB so users should turn on Wi-Fi with enough battery before upgrading. It should hit other countries during the next few weeks.
