Galaxy Note 4 vs. iPhone 6 Comparison: Release Date, Specs, Features Rumors

Galaxy Note 4 vs. iPhone 6 has been the hottest tech talk in the previous months. Topics and rumors about the individual specs, launching date, and release date are what fans of each brands can see in numerous gossip sites.

Details are now slowly coming to place as earlier this week, Samsung finally unveiled their new Galaxy Note 4 phablet at the Unpacked event in Berlin Wednesday along with its "edgy" variant, the Galaxy Note Edge.

Other reports are also considering the possibility that with the nearing Apple unveiling this month, fans of the products from the Cupertino-based tech company will see two bigger smartphones which are purported to rival those of the South Korean tech giant's devices.

Now that one variable, the Samsing Galaxy Note 4, has already been found out, let's see how the phablet will fare with the purported iPhone 6 models.

Display
The Galaxy Note 4 arrived with a 5.6-inch 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution or 515 ppi display.

The iPhone 6 has long been rumored to be considerably bigger from the previous iPhone 5S 4-inch screen to 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays. Tech review sites also believe that the devices will have 960 x 1704 pixels resolution or 416 ppi.

Performance
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was seen sporting an octa-core 1.9 GHz Exynos processor while its Galaxy Note Edge variant donning a quad-core 2.7 GHz Snapdragon processor, with 32GB and 64GB storage allocations respectively.

For the iPhone 6, rumor has it that it will likely run with the all-new powerful 2.6 GHz quad-core Apple A8 processor.

Operating System
The Galaxy Note 4 and the Note Edge will be shipped with the latest Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the already reported proprietary UI to cater the S Pen stylus integration and the S Health apps.

The iPhone 6 should come with Apple's recently-announced iOS 8 with the latest HealthKit and HomeKit features.

Release Dates
Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 devices have already unveiled. It is slated to hit the shelves in October while the Note Edge will follow by the end of the year.

The two bigger iPhone 6 models are slated to be unveiled this coming Sept. 9 and will arrive in their worldwide stores before October.
