Google will release a car dock for the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone-tablet hybrid.

This accessory will allow users of the device to perch the phablet on their windshields. This can basically turn the Note 8 into a giant GPS, helping the user navigate through terrain on their trips and saving them the hassle of getting lost.

The dock has a glossy black finish and holds the Galaxy Note 8 securely.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 8 in three different variants.

The three types include the GT N5110, which will be Wi-Fi only, the GT 5100, which will have 3G connectivity, and the GT N5105 that will have both 3G and LTE connectivity, according to YouMobile.

There is no official word on the pricing. Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 8 to better compete with Apple's iPad Mini, which launched at the end of last year.

The Galaxy Note 8 was recently spotted by a French blog called FrAndroid last month.

The site posted up a picture of the device with its trademark S Pen. FrAndroid also confirmed recent rumors regarding the Galaxy Note 8 stating that it will feature a Super Clear 8-inch LCD display with a 1280 x 800 resolution and will run Android 4.2, JellyBean.

Other specifications for the phablet include 2GB RAM, 16 or 32GB or internal memory, a microSD card slot for expansion, 5 megapixel camera sensor, 1.3-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0 connectivity, and a 4600 mAh battery.

The 8-inch Galaxy Note closely resembles the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 in the leaked images. And it will come with a bigger version of the S Pen. The accessory has been featured on the unique device since the original version launching in 2011.
