The Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE comes with three data plan options. A standard 3 GB monthly data plan that comes with the two-year contract for $35, or either prepaid or postpaid plans than offer 250 MB for $14.99 or 2 GB for $25.

The Galaxy S2 or S2 Skyrocket can use either the DataPlus plan that offers 200 MB for $15 per month or the DataPro plan that offers 2 GB of data for $25 per month. Each additional 1 GB of data is $10.

In addition, AT&T is launching on Nov. 20, its 4G LTE networks in six new locations including, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Oklahoma City, and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

With the launch, AT&T 4G LTE capability will be available in 15 states.

AT&T noted in a statement that it is the only United States carrier that provides 4G capability using both HSPA+ and LTE.

HSPA+ and LTE combined provide greater 4G-device compatibility and a wider range of coverage "even when outside of an AT&T 4G LTE area."

"Customers of other carriers that have transitioned to 4G LTE without further speed upgrades to their existing networks are likely to see a jarring drop-off in speeds when they move out of LTE coverage," said AT&T.
