Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 Owners to Receive NFC TecTiles and Flip Cover Free

Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 owners now have the opportunity to obtain a flip over accessory or 6 TecTile NFC stickers for free.

Samsung is offering this deal to anyone who registers their device on the company's website.

In order to be eligible for the free accessories, owners of either device should visit www.facebook.com/SamsungMobileUSA.

After visiting this address, Note 2 and Galaxy S3 owners should select their device and then register it there. Once this is done they should receive an email for the free flip cover and 6 tectile NFC stickers.

Customers who do this will also receive a 50 percent off coupon for up to 10 items on Samsung's website.

Users will need their IMEI/HEX# to complete the registration process. There are a few methods that can be used to find this number.

One of the methods would be to dial *#06#. Other ways to find it include visiting Settings, than selecting About Phone and checking Status, removing the back cover and battery, or looking on the product's box.

This special promotion offered by Samsung will only be available for a limited time so Note 2 and Galaxy S3 owners need to act fast.

The offer is valid while supplies last through Jan. 31, 2013. It is limited to the first 12,100 eligible Galaxy S3 owners and first 12,100 Galaxy Note 2 owners who are legal residents of the 50 U.S. and DC. Customers wishing to participate in this promotion must be 18 years or older.

NFC TecTiles utilize the device's NFC chip allowing users to program special functions into them. Once a user taps the tile, the task programmed into it will automatically be performed by the device.
