'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Spoilers: Finale Will Be 'Largest, Most Exciting' One Yet This Sunday

"Game of Thrones" season four comes to a close this Sunday, June 15 and fans can expect an epic finale, according to reports this week.

With last week's episode including the death of a character still fresh, "GOT" fans are gearing up for the season finale with a sense of alarm since culminations of past seasons have proved jaw-dropping. Further proving that the season four closer will be a shocker, "GOT" director Alex Graves promises a full hour of some of the series' most exciting sequences.

"It's the largest, I think, most exciting episode that's been done," he said, according to USA Today.

Graves has directed six "GOT" episodes, including the most-talked about episode in which King Joffrey met his end. The director went on to say that season four's finale, entitled "The Children," is "a brilliant script that coincided with so many amazing events from the books," which were written by George R. R. Martin.

Past season finales have seen shocking twists such as the Red Wedding last year. While it remains to be seen what happens in the season four closer, "GOT" star Peter Dinklage recently offered clues about the fate of his beloved character, Tyrion Lannister, while speaking to the Los Angeles Times.

"I don't think anything's fair in King's Landing, is it," said Dinklage, who won both an Emmy Award and a Golden Globe for his role as Tyrion. The actor went on to cite Tyrion's vicious sister, Cersei (Lena Headey), as well as his hateful father, Tywin (Charles Dance), who want him dead. However, Dinklage pointed out his Tyrion's survival skills.

"He's the fall guy in this situation, isn't he," Dinklage reasoned. "They just wanted to make it all easy and make me go away, but I think Tyrion is quite a survivor. Hopefully he will find a way. I hope so, because I like my job… It's great fun. Since I've joined 'Game of Thrones,' it's been such a pleasure."

"GOT" airs on HBO at 9 p.m. EST Sunday, June 15. The synopsis for "The Children" is as follows: "In the Season 4 finale, Daenerys must face harsh realities; Bran learns more about his destiny; Tyrion sees the truth of his situation; and circumstances north of the Wall are altered by an unexpected arrival."
