'Game of Thrones' Season 5 News, Spoilers: Iain Glen Talks the Future of Jorah Mormont, Episode Synopsis Revealed

Fans of the hit fantasy TV drama series "Game of Thrones" may have already known the precariousness of the lives of the characters playing in what seem to be a world full of intrigue, chaos, treachery and magic.

One character actor, Iain Glen, recently talked to Entertainment Weekly to discuss about the future of his Jorah Mormont.

Spoiler alert for those who missed Episode 5 "Kill the Boy," Jorah, along with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) got wind up with the stone men who attacked them as they traverse the rivers of Valyria.

They survived but it was found out that Jorah had unfortunately contracted the highly contagious disease, greyscale.

Fans were quick to assume that this could be the beginning of the end for Ser Jorah.

"I thought, 'Uh-oh, here comes trouble,'" Glen told Entertainment Weekly about his reaction upon reading the episode's script. "Then you start reaching out for what this means, and showrunners Dan Weiss and David Benioff] are playing their cards very close to their vest on this one."

However, it remains to be seen if the knight will succumbed to the disfiguring illness or that he will be freed from it.

"In this story, people have died from it and they have been saved from it. So who knows? It's a slow burn, greyscale, and there are ways to intervene," he said.

Meanwhile, a synopsis for this week's upcoming episode titled "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken," will focus on Arya (Maisie Williams) continuing her training in Braavos, Jorah and Tyrion running into some slavers, Trystane (Toby Sebastian) and Myrcell (Nell Tiger Free) making plans, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn) arrives at their destination, and the Sand Snakes finally making their move.

"Game of Thrones" Season 5 airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on HBO.
