Game of Thrones Season 5 Spoilers, Plot News: Nikolaj Cost-Waldau Teases 'Bloodier and More Shocking' Scenes

If the trial by combat between the Mountain and the Viper back in the fourth season of the hit HBO fantasy series, "Game of Thrones," wasn't bloody enough, then fans of the series should expect more doses of gore and violence in the upcoming fifth season of the show.

Series actor, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays the Kingsguard Jaime Lannister, revealed that followers of the popular TV show should brace themselves for more twists and even more "bloodier" scenes.

"This new season is bloodier and more shocking than ever before," the star told The Independent. "That's pretty much the only thing I can confirm. Viewers won't be bored, put it that way. You read the script and think, 'whoa, are they really going to go that far.' It's the beauty of the show."

Probing further, the 44-year-old Dane said that despite author George R.R. Martin's ongoing development of his book series, Waldau believes that the HBO adaptation might only have a couple of seasons left to bring to the small screen.

"I think that's what the writers are working towards. Most shows get seven seasons. The interest might start to peter out at that point. So I'd say it's just two more seasons," he added.

Meanwhile, a slew of spoiler reports reveal the titles for Season 5's fifth, sixth, and seventh episodes. These are:

Episode 5: "Kill the Boy"

Episode 6: "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken"

Episode 7: "The Gift"

HBO previously unveiled the first four titles which are:

"The Wars to Come (Ep.1)," "The House of Black and White (Ep. 2)," "High Sparrow (Ep. 3)," "The Sons of the Harpy (Ep. 4)."

"Game of Thrones" will open its 5th Season premiere April 12, 2015.
