'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Release Date, News: First Teaser Released on Twitter

HBO's hugely-popular fantasy series "Game of Thrones" is set to return for its fifth season in the spring of 2015. However, the network was "kind enough" to throw some crumbs to fans eagerly waiting for any updates about the drama.

Just recently, the official "Game of Thrones" Twitter account posted a new viral teaser along with a campaign for the upcoming chapter of the TV program.

The rather short clip featured Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) who was awoken by an apparently ugly dream. A disembodied voice was then heard saying, "I see darkness in you."

The scene then shifted to Arya's dark past showing her running through the woods, stabbing men, and looking at an iron coin. It ended in a shot, which is speculated to be her future, where she stands between two sets of doors, one black and the other is white.

Avid readers of the George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series may easily recognize the doors as found in the city of Bravoos where Arya is heading.

The video post was captioned "You now have the power of #TheSight. Keep watch for visions of the future" and it somehow invited the viewers to visit ThreeEyedRaven.com where they can get more of "The Sight" via their Twitter accounts or SMS.

For those who still didn't know, "Game of Thrones" is already renewed for a sixth season, with some of the cast members signed through a seventh season, ScreenCrush reported.

The story for the fifth season will also be drawn heavily from George R. R. Martin's fourth and fifth novels, "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance with Dragons."
