With a long and distinguished career playing high profile villainous characters in films like "Dracula Untold," "Underworld: Awakening," and "The Last Action Hero," Dance is lending his solemn voice and clipped tones to the powerful leader of the Nilfgaard Empire, who, according to the actor, is a very commanding individual and a man of few words.

While no further information has been released about his character and his role in Geralt of Rivia's quests in the game, players will just have to await "The Witcher 3's" release date as CD Projeckt Red has been mostly keeping silent about the storyline and character elements in the upcoming title.

In footage posted on the game's site, Dance expressed his enjoyment at performing for a video game and commented on the increasing popularity of mainstream fantasy in the media.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," the third installment in the Polish developer's role playing action video game series, went gold last week, even before its expected release next month. It will reportedly be featuring faster combat action, new forms of magic attacks and counter attacks, and an easier method for using the combat system in the game.

It is expected to launch for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on May 19.
