Games With Gold Free Games List for October: 3 Exciting Free Games for Xbox One and Xbox 360
September is obviously nearing its end and Xbox Live Gold members are already wondering what's in store for their Games with Gold free games list this coming October. Here's what we know so far.
"October should be a banner month for Xbox Live Gold subscribers, with plenty of gameplay variety to sink their teeth into," a statement from Official Xbox Blog reads.
According to further reports from Ecumenical News, Xbox One Live Gold subscribers will get their hands on the latest ID@Xbox game from Frima called Chariot.

It's "a couch co-op platformer that can be played alone or with a friend. Players take the role of the brave Princess or her faithful Fiancé as they maneuver the departed king's coffin-on-wheels through 25 levels set in five vibrant underground environments, with his majesty's ghost giving them a piece of his mind every step of the way," Microsoft said on their website.
"Filled to the brim with emergent physics-based gameplay, Chariot offers hours of exciting exploration, fast-paced ride sequences and mountains upon mountains of loot!" the site added.
The game will be available for free download from Oct.1 through Oct.31.
For Xbox 360 handlers, they'll be treated with the popular first-person shooter game Battlefield: Bad Company 2, which will be available for them to download free of charge from Oct. 1 up to Oct. 15.
For the remaining weeks of October Oct. 16 to Oct. 31, action role-playing game Darksiders II will be made available.
