'General Hospital' Spoilers, News: Nathan Varni Allegedly Blames Rebecca Hurst for Show's Possible Cancellation

"General Hospital" director, Nathan Varni, allegedly blames actress, Rebecca Hurst, for the show's possible cancellation, since fans might not watch the show without her.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Varni was called out by blogger Jamey Giddens for "breaking" the code of silence when he discussed these private matters. It all started when the director allegedly replied to a message via Facebook talking about Herbst' contract negotiations. Part of the message says, "Well it would be a shame to punish US when it would be her choice in the end — we've done everything possible to entice her to stay and now it is Becky's final decision. I would hope the fans of GH would be more mature to stick with us if a certain actor or actress leaves." This was not taken lightly by fans since he added, "We can all watch GH sail into the sunset."

The blogger said that Varni has no right to divulge these information to the public since contract negotiations are private matters. After the news came out, the director claimed that his social media account was hacked, and said he didn't write the alleged Facebook message.

Meanwhile, the show continues despite the drama behind the set. According to Soap Shows, tomorrow's episode (Feb. 15) will get Jason (Billy Miller) rattled since he will be receiving a disturbing phone call, which may also rattle Sam (Kelly Monaco) if she finds out.

On the other hand, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) is now moving on from losing her house, and accepts Nik's (Tyler Christopher) help to stay at his home with her sons. However, even though she's happy to have a place to stay for a while, Liz is not thrilled that Hayden (Rebecca Budig) is there.

She Knows Soaps posted a synopsis for Monday's, Feb. 15, episode, and it reads, "Jason receives a disturbing phone call. Nikolas takes steps in uncovering Hayden's secret past. Maxie jumps to the wrong conclusions."
