'General Hospital': On Jason's Critical Condition and Franco's Mission to Find Answers

In the past few weeks of "General Hospital," Sam (Kelly Monaco) had to endure through tough times. From shooting Sonny (Maurice Benard) to dealing with Jason's (Billy Miller) critical condition, she has given her best not to succumb to her illness and at the same time, make the right decisions. The week of Sept. 18 indicate that she has a few more things in store for her, Anna (Finola Hughes), and Betsy (Deborah Strang).

This week on "General Hospital" will not be any easier for Sam. Considering she just made the difficult decision of transferring Jason to an extended care facility, she is hoping that he will show signs of improvement. She will get her hopes up when she sees Jason's hand move, and she will immediately call the doctor to check if he is improving. Unfortunately, the doctor will deal a disappointing blow as he will tell Sam that his condition has not improved. As to how this might affect her health status, fans will have to wait and see on "General Hospital."

Meanwhile, Betsy is caught in a complicated situation as she is approached by Franco (Roger Howarth), who found a photo of himself posing with Jason. With his mind set on finding the answers he is looking for, he will approach his adoptive mother. Betsy will not respond lightly, and although she will tell him that it is time for Franco to know the truth about his upbringing, she will also warn him not to seek answers that he might not be prepared to hear.

While everything is reaching the point of no return for Sam and Franco, Anna is determined to get out of her situation. Last week, she blackmailed Finn (Michael Easton), saying that he should help her given that he is part of the problem and the solution. This week, it seems that Finn will agree, even though he will do it halfheartedly.

"General Hospital" airs weekdays on ABC at 2 p.m. EDT.
