George Clooney, Stacy Keibler Split Details: 'No One Got Dumped'

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler reportedly split in recent weeks and a new report appears to have uncovered details of that split.

On July 4 the pair, who dated for two years, fueled reports of a split after celebrating America's Independence Day separately. A new report claims that the breakup was mutual and that neither Clooney, 52, nor Keibler, 33, was "dumped."

"It's been slowly falling apart for awhile. Stacy knew George was not the man to settle down with," a source told Us magazine.

"Stacy and George have been having ongoing discussions in the last few weeks. It wasn't a one-sided decision. No one got dumped," the source explained adding. "They both discussed it and realized it was better that they split."

Busy schedules were also cited as another reason that the Hollywood actor and the former WWE pro-wrestler chose to end their relationship.

"They haven't been in the same country for a long time. They are both working and haven't seen each other. You can't have a relationship with someone that you don't see," the source said. "They know this is for the best."

Clooney, 51, first began dating Keibler, 33, in July 2011 however they have reportedly not been photographed together since March 2013, which raised questions about their relationship.

In November Clooney's sister, Adelia Zeidler, 52, opened up about her famous brother's perspective on marriage. Zeidler revealed that the actor would never marry Keibler, which raised doubts about the pair's future together.

"George will probably not get married he decided that he could have the career or he could have a family," Zeidler previously told Us magazine. "He set goals for himself and has worked hard to achieve those goals. He's very happy with his life."

Keibler, who works as a model and TV host, previously revealed that like Clooney marriage was also not a priority.

"That is not on my radar at all I'm definitely the girl who doesn't talk about that kind of stuff," Keibler told E! News.

"I'm not really interested in thinking about marriage or kids at all. [I] live in the moment," she explained, adding, "I'm more of a guy that way."
