In the group, the Polish squad are the only undefeated group, winning four of their six matches while settling for a draw against Scotland and the Republic of Ireland.

Their most recent outing was a 4-0 win over Georgia where Robert Lewandowski put on a spectacular showing in the final minutes of the game.

Poland were already in the lead with Arkadiusz Milik scoring in the 62nd minute.

However, Lewandowski wanted to add to his scoring tally as he netted a goal in the 89th minute of the match.

Not yet done, he added two more goals in the second and third minute of injury time to complete his hat trick and the team's route on Georgia.

After his goal-scoring prowess was on full display, he is hoping to carry that form against the highly-touted German squad.

Germany have also four wins in the competition, unfortunately they suffered a 2-0 loss to Poland earlier in the competition.

In that match, played at Stadion Narodowy, Milik and Sebastian Mila scored in the second half to secure the big victory over their German rivals.

Now look for Germany to battle back – since their loss to Poland, they have only allowed one goal in their last four games and have won their last three games without conceding, while scoring a total of 13 times in the match.

Both teams are favoured to move on in the competition, but the battle for the top spot is far from over and their upcoming battle should determine who will hold first place.
