GI Joe Crew Member Dies in Horror Accident

A crew member working on the GI Joe sequel has died following a tragic accident on set.

The greatly anticipated movie “GI Joe 2: Retaliation” is currently in work, but saw tragedy hit filming when an accident happened yesterday in New Orleans.

According to TMZ, officials at Paramount Pictures have explained that a worker who was hired to dismantle part of a set was killed.

The worker was operating a high-powered scissor lift when the accident happened. As he was working with the machinery the heavy machine tipped over causing the worker fatal injuries.

Paramount Pictures, who is running the filming, has said: “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the [crew member's] family at this time.”

The statement continued, "The safety of our cast and crew is our top priority and the studio is fully cooperating with all investigating agencies as they examine the circumstances surrounding this unusual accident.”
