The five-year-old niece of Gisele Bundchen has signed on as a designer for signature collection by Brazilian clothing brand Brandili Mundi.
Specializing in children's wear, Brandili Mundi has worked with the supermodel's niece before. Duda Bundchen has modeled for the brand since last year, and has now extended her contract to include her own collection.
The Duda Bunchen For Brandili Mundi line will incorporate the child's opinions into the design process and help the brand attract young girls to their stores.
Bundchen opened up about some of her ideas during a recent interview.
"The colors I like best in clothes are blue and pink," said the young Bundchen speaking to Caras Online. "I love butterflies."
Germano Costa who serves as marketing director for Brandili Textil, the parent company of Brandili Mundi, explained the new clothing line and said Bundchen will enhance the clothing company with her input.
"She told us about her preferences in prints, cuts, and details, and based on the briefing we received from her we came up with a collaborative collection," said Costa, according to Forbes magazine. "The pieces were all approved by Duda, whose romantic inspiration will no doubt catch girls' eyes."
Duda's parents emphasized that their daughter's work with the company was entirely her idea.
"It is important to note that the keyword in all this is happiness, and Duda, in the first place" said Raquel Bundchen - Gisele's sister and Duda's mother, according to the U.K.'s Daily Mail.
"Raquel and I are here because of her, not because of us," added Duda's father Paulo Borges. "To see the joy in our daughter is what matters most."
Duda Bunchen For Brandili Mundi will be available in July.
Duda's supermodel aunt is one of the highest paid supermodels of all time, who is famous for her work with Victoria's Secret as well as countless other fashion brands.
Gisele Bundchen is married to Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots.
