Mark Salling assured fans that he is all right, and might even be taking advantage of his injury, after it was revealed that he broke his pelvis while playing a game of basketball.

The mishap’s news emerged from Twitter, where the “Glee” star is updating fans on his condition. The first piece of information about his injury came Wednesday, when the 29-year-old actor tweeted: “so apparently ive fractured my pelvis. one of the pitfalls of being a basketball weekend warrior. and guess what i can do about it? NOTHING!”

Despite admitting that he had trouble sitting, Salling assured fans that he was O.K., and by Thursday, he was even off to the gym for a “light workout,” according to Contact Music. He did not seem willing to share the full extent of the injury, and made light of the issue by posting a picture of himself lying down on a desk and tweeting: "Pelvic injuries are glamorous."

However, he did fess up to being in pain, and it is not clear how long the injury will continue to bother him.

Salling tweeted: "its not that bad, i can still walk and even run but sitting and getting up is excruciating,"

Salling is one of the most popular actors on “Glee” and gained a wide fan-base for his role as the character Puck. Like many of the other actors on the show, he remains in close contact with fans using social media websites like Facebook and Twitter.
