'Gotham' Season 1 Spoilers: Gordon and Bullock Track the Ogre, Bruce Digs Down Deeper

Last week of the hit crime-fighting TV drama series "Gotham" airs what thought to be one of the most bone-chilling episodes.

It started off with the Ogre (guest star Milo Ventimigla) finally getting his hands on Det. Gordon's (Ben McKenzie) estranged fiancée. There's also the scene showing further the Penguin's (Robin Lord Taylor) animosity which ended up with the shocking murder of a messenger. And then there's Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), who transformed last week from the geeky person to which he was known all throughout Gotham City Police Department into a murderous individual.

The thrill is set to continue in the upcoming penultimate episode titled "The Anvil or the Hammer." A report from TV Line (via Ecumenical News) cited executive producer Bruno Heller teasing that the forthcoming segment will see the conclusion of the Ogre story.

As for the young Dark Knight, Heller said that Bruce (David Mazouz) will learn the truth about Wayne Enterprises and this could affect his disposition in life.

"The things that he finds out about his family and what's going on inside Wayne Enterprises really changes his mind about where's he's going and what he's doing in the world," Heller explained.

Meanwhile, a synopsis posted on The Futon Critic indicates that Nygma will be dealing with his recent actions. Fans were quick to speculate that before the current season ends, we will get to see the The Riddler coming into form and that his dangerous games will be heavily featured in the coming chapter of the show.

The summary went on to point out that Oswald will lead a massacre which would begin an epic war between Gotham's reigning Mafia groups.

"Gotham" Season 1 episode 21 airs this Monday, April 27, on FOX.
