'Gotham' Season 1 Spoilers, Plot News: Meet the Flying Graysons in 'The Blind Fortune Teller'

Fans of the hit crime-fighting TV series "Gotham" Season 1 have been gradually introduced to some of the iconic Batman characters. This week, spoiler reports suggested that viewers of the Dark Knight TV adaptation might get to see The Flying Graysons as well as the younger version of one of the series' notable villain, the Joker.

A teaser for this week's segment was released and it briefly showed a character named Jerome. Played by "Shameless" star Cameron Monaghan, showrunner Bruno Heller however doesn't confirmed whether the sinister smiling guy featured in the teaser was in fact the young Joker.

"He may or may not be The Joker," Heller informed The Hollywood Reporter. "All I can promise is that's not a bait and switch. It's a long game we're playing here."

Tonight's episode will also introduce the other members of the circus to which the mysterious Jerome works with.

For avid fans, they might know that the Flying Graysons would be the parents of Dick Grayson. Dick would later become Batman's sidekick Robin.

The series of promo videos also indicated that Jonathan Crane, who was shown in last week's showing, would also appear somewhere down the line. As for the young Batman himself, Bruce (David Mazouz) will for the first time meet the people working for his family as he set off for a meeting with Wayne Enterprises.

A full synopsis for episode titled "The Blind Fortune Teller" was posted on the Futon Critic where it reads:

"Gordon takes Dr. Leslie Thompkins (guest star Morena Baccarin) to the circus, but the day turns quickly when the circus comes under attack. Then, Falcone enlists Butch Gilzean to help Penguin with the night club, while Fish Mooney is otherwise occupied. Also, Bruce Wayne schedules a meeting with the Wayne Enterprises."

"Gotham" Season 1 airs Mondays, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
