Gotham Season 1 Recap, Spoilers: Gordon and Bullock To Investigate A Fight Club in 'The Mask'
The previous episode of the hit crime TV series "Gotham" Season 1 revealed a hefty amount of information behind the character of Oswald Penguin Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) and his involvement in the ensuing chaos of the city.
Titled "Penguin's Umbrella," it befittingly describes how the crippled yet extremely cunning Penguin is in manipulating the three major bosses of Gotham to fall in his plans. As revealed, he requested Carmine Falcone (John Doman) that it would be Detective Gordon (Ben McKenzie) who will carry out his "execution" knowing that the officer's actions are greatly guided by his conscience. And he wasn't wrong about it.
He told Falcone that if he give him this chance, he will serve the Don as his "snitch."

In the previous episodes prior to the last, it was shown how thankful Penguin is to Gordon for sparing his life. But the police officer might soon regret that decision.
Meanwhile, the MCU duo Montoya (Victoria Cartagena) and Allen (Andrew Stewart-Jones) have a sudden change of heart towards Gordon as they found out the righteous actions of the officer.
They even rescued Gordon from an apparent danger at the Gotham City's Police Department.
Gordon, on the other hand, confronted the city mayor and Falcone, handing them their arrest warrants for the conspiracy of the death of the Wayne couple. The mob boss told him that he got Barbara (Erin Richards) and that he should let them go.
A synopsis for the upcoming episode titled "The Mask," partners Gordon and Bullock (Donal Logue) investigates a businessman who runs a deadly fight club for candidates applying for his financial firm.
It is also mentioned that the young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) will return to school and will get an unexpected visit from a "new friend."
"Gotham" Season 1, Episode 8 airs this Monday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. on FOX.
