'Gotham' Season 1 Recap, Spoilers: Show's Midseason Finale to Revisit the Wayne Murder Case
In the previous episode of the hit crime fighting drama series "Gotham" Season 1, Batman fans get to be introduced to the would-be Two-Face, in the person of Harvey Dent (Nicholas D' Agosto).
Viewers may already have noticed the psychotic tendencies of the prosecution attorney when he confronted Gotham tycoon Dick Lovecraft (Al Sapienza). He's been told by Det. Gordon (Ben McKenzie) about Lovecraft's involvement of the Thomas and Martha Wayne killing.
Meanwhile, Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) is now even deeper in his "snitching" job as he found out Liza's (Makenzie Leigh) real intentions with Carmine Falcone (John Doman).
Fish Mooney, (Jada Pinkett Smith), on the other hand, was also doing her moves to destroy Falcone by manipulating the Russian mob to get into the mafia don's cache of money.
Bruce (David Mazouz) and Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova) are now also getting to know each other when Gordon requested the young Wayne to temporarily house the homeless thief.
Moving on to the next episode titled "Lovecraft," spoiler reports suggested that the program will be revisiting the Wayne murder, which occurred in the pilot episode.
A series of sneak peeks were also released by the network revealing a group of assassins infiltrating the Wayne manor with a mission to kill Selina.
In the videos, the youngsters managed to flee for safety while leaving the abled butler to deter the attackers.
Following scenes then show Gordon getting confronted both by Alfred (Sean Pertwee), for bringing the juvie in their home, and by Bullock (Donal Logue) for treading on the murder case again. In turn, Gordon went up to Harvey to tell him that everything is his fault for giving away vital information.
The rest of the footages showed Bruce and Selina going into the thieves den to seek temporary shelter and help. There's also Don Falcone confronting Penguin about the discovery of his secret stash.
"Gotham" Season 1 Fall Finale airs this Monday, Nov. 24, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
